Furrowed New Holland Daisy (Vittadinia sulcata N.T.Burb.)
Page contents
↑Summary
A weedy annual native to Australia, recorded at one site in the South Carolina coastal plain.
↑Habitat
The potential habitat preferences of this species in North America are not well-known. It was recorded only once in a waste area outside a wool-combing mill in the coastal plain of South Carolina. It may not have persisted at this site, but at the same time, it is also possible that this species occurs elsewhere and has been under-reported, as it is a relatively small, weedy plant that superficially resembles more common asters.
