This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is somewhat widely reported in landscaping, although less commonly than the goldenrain tree (Koelreuteria paniculata). FSUS reports all the populations reported by BONAP and a few more, but reports all of them as waifs, meaning they did not persist, but notes "potentially invasive". BONAP on the other hand reports these as established in the wild, not as waifs.
