This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is native to North-Central China, and is occasionally grown in North America; BONAP reports it in a single county in New York but we found no specifics nor did we find any other sources saying it occurs anywhere in North America. It is not listed in the New York Flora Atlas.
