POWO notes this species as also native to British Columbia, Canada, but neither BONAP nor E-Flora BC, both of which tend to be more reliable for distribution information, report it as occurring there. There is a chance that there is a discrepancy in some population included by POWO in this taxon, but not in those other sources, but it is also likely that this species just does not occur in BC.
