Also known as slender meadowfoam; also classified as Limnanthes gracilis Howell.
Slender meadowfoam, Limnanthes gracilis, was merged into this species, and populations formerly considered to belong to that species are now considered either to be ssp. gracilis or, the subspecies or variety parishii was merged into ssp. parishii.
