Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

BONAP reports this species adventive slightly east of its native range; we mark it expanded due to proximity to the native range. We have not verified the origin of these reports; this species however is not widely used in landscaping, and has wind-dispersed seeds and is likely to readily colonize new sites on its own when suitable habitat exists.
