Taken on Jul. 2, 2007

This aerial photo of the Alaska Coastline somewhere between Ugashik and Naknek shows a landscape typical of the Bristol Bay-Nushagak Lowlands. The landscape is flat and there are numerous ponds; most of the vegetation cover is low and open tundra, although there are some areas of trees. The hills in the distance are the Alaska Peninsula Mountains.

This photo is cropped and the colors edited from the original to make them bolder.
