Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
Although the new populations in New York state and Arkansas are separated by some distance from the native range, we marked them as expanded because the eastern edge of this species' native range contains many isolated populations and the distances between these are similar to the differences to these new populations. This species is also native to Canada and Mexico; we have yet to build these portions of its map.
