Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

Notes

This species is probably native to a small region in southern New York state, but was introduced in the Adirondacks. Although some of the areas it has been introduced are not far from its native range geographically, it is considered invasive because of the effect it has on ecosystems.
