Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

BONAP marks this plant as "adventive" in the US, a category it usually reserves for plants native at least somewhere in the Americas, but POWO considers this plant only native to Asia through Australia and introduced anywhere in the Americas. We found no evidence that this plant is native anywhere in the Americas, so mark it as introduced. There is also a disparate population in southeast Mexico; we have yet to build this portion of its map.
