Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This species is native to the south-central US but has expanded east, west, and north; we mark these populations Expanded because they are largely close to the native range although they become more scattered in the east and north. This species is also Expanded in Canada and native to Mexico; we have yet to build these portions of its map.
