This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This species has been widely introduced across North America, but many of the populations end up being ephemeral, and those that persist tend to form isolated, scattered populations. Canadensys shows this species occurring farther north, into the Yukon and with ephemeral populations in the Northwest Territories, but we could not find specifics of such records.
