This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
There are scattered records of this plant east, west, and north of its native range, mostly to the east; these occurrences are rare and many may not persist. We mark these records Expanded because they are separated from the native range only by short distances not much longer than occur in isolated native populations around the edge of this species' native range, and because they seem to occur with some regularity. This species may also be underreported due to being hard to ID and/or people not knowing to check against this species.
