This species was observed historically in the Virginia coastal plain but is presumed extinct. FSUS notes that it may have been a hybrid, or that it may have once been more common but was overlooked.
↑Habitat
This plant was found in dry, sandy woodlands and clearings, in the coastal plain of Virginia.
