Pygmy Saxifrage (Saxifraga hyperborea R. Br.)
POWO and FNA consider populations described as a variety of weak saxifrage (Saxifraga rivularis), var. flexuosa (Sternberg) Engler & Irmscher to belong to this species and not that one. USDA PLANTS and BONAP consider those to belong to S. rivularis. We follow POWO's scheme. The populations in question are the ones that occur in the lower 48 US, which explains the discrepancy in ranges of these species in the various sources.

This tentative map is based on our own research. It may have limited data on Canada and/or Mexico, and there is some subjectivity in our assignment of plants as introduced vs. expanded. Read more in this blog post.
Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is also native to Canada and Alaska; we have yet to build this portion of its map.
