Fringed Willowherb (Epilobium ciliatum Raf.)
Also known as northern willowherb; also classified as Epilobium glandulosum Lehm. (= ssp. glandulosum).
Some authorities separate ssp. glandulosum into its own species, Epilobium glandulosum Lehm. We follow POWO's treatment of that taxon as a subspecies, and recognizing a total of three subspecies, also ciliatum and watsonii.

This tentative map is based on our own research. It may have limited data on Canada and/or Mexico, and there is some subjectivity in our assignment of plants as introduced vs. expanded. Read more in this blog post.
Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
↑Notes
We recommend against the use of the common name "northern willowherb" to refer to this species, as it more frequently refers to northern willowherb (Epilobium septentrionale).
