We have marked this species as "Introduced" rather than "Expanded" even though the newly-established populations are relatively near this plant's native range, for several reasons: the new populations are escapes from landscaping plants, this plant becomes increasingly uncommon in the wild towards the edge of its native range, and we have seen no evidence that these original populations are expanding.
