Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This species is occasionally cultivated, and has escaped into the wild east of its native range. Although a few of the populations are isolated, most of them are relatively close to the native range. We have marked them all as expanded, but the Massachussets population and perhaps also the New Jersey one could be marked introduced.
