An artificial hybrid of the introduced species large white petunia (Petunia axillaris) and violetflower petunia (Petunia integrifolia), perhaps also containing material from Petunia inflata.

Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This hybrid is artificial and thus has no native range. It has also been introduced in Canada and probably also in Mexico; we have yet to build these portions of its map.
