Roundseed Panicgrass (Dichanthelium sphaerocarpon (Elliott) Gould)
BONAP and USDA PLANTS both treat many-flowered panicgrass (Dichanthelium polyanthes) as a variety of this species. Thus, what they refer to by this name is a larger grouping, and what we refer to by this name corresponds to what they call Dichanthelium sphaerocarpon var. sphaerocarpon.

This tentative map is based on our own research. It may have limited data on Canada and/or Mexico, and there is some subjectivity in our assignment of plants as introduced vs. expanded. Read more in this blog post.
Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is also native to Canada, contiguously with its range in the US, and southern Mexico discontiguously with its range in the US. We have yet to build these portions of its map.
