Shinyleaf Meadowsweet (Spiraea corymbosa Raf.)
BONAP and FNA have merged this species into white spirea (Spiraea betulifolia), but USDA and POWO consider it separate. We have kept it separate for now, deferring to POWO's treatment.

This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
Our map is based on the USDA's reported map. Although this map also reports this species as introduced in Nova Scotia and Ontario, we were unable to locate any specifics on where it is found there and we suspect that these reports may either be in error or represent very old collections of plants that did not form persistent populations. This species may have occurred in NS and ON, but likely does not currently.
