Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is native to the central US, and has expanded its range in all directions; it is now introduced in Mexico, Canada, and Alaska; we have yet to build these portions of its map. The southeastern populations are more transient and FSUS marks them as waifs.
