This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is also native to Canada, but we have yet to build this portion of its map. POWO also reports it as native to Alaska, but this report makes no sense given its range; neither FNA nor USDA PLANTS list it occurring and we defer to them because it makes more sense that it does not occur in AK as it is far from the rest of the range, which is generally contiguous.
