This tentative map is based on our own research. It may have limited data on Canada and/or Mexico, and there is some subjectivity in our assignment of plants as introduced vs. expanded. Read more in this blog post.

This species is native to the southwest but is now found much farther east and north. We mark it as Expanded because it is a weedy plant that is spreading on its own, and the new populations, through much of the new range, are separated by distances similar to those that occur in its native range, only becoming sparser around the far northeast reaches where it is less common anyway. This species is also native to Mexico, but we have yet to build this portion of its map.
