This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This species' range is more fragmented than the map of L3 ecoregions suggests; it is uncommon to rare in much of its range, and even where it is more abundant it usually occurs as isolated populations, being absent from most of the total area of these ecoregions. FNA notes that this species has been reported in Ontario but no voucher specimens exist. None of the authorities we consult report it as occurring there.
