This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This species has established an isolated population in New York state, which we mark as introduced because it originated from garden escapes, is separated by a significant gap from native populations, and because this species is uncommon around the edges of its range and shows no evidence of expanding.
