This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species has formed a few new populations originating from garden escapes. We report some of these as expanded, when closer to its native range, and some as introduced when separated by larger distances. However, both classifications represent subjective judgment calls and this species could easily be classified either Introduced or Expanded in any of its new range.
