Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This small weedy plant is not usually intentionally planted; it spreads along roadsides in particular, and has expanded its range greatly eastward, particularly in the northern portion of the US and into Canada.
