Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

Notes

Even though this species is uncommon towards the northeast border of its range, we have marked this species as "expanding" in the northeastern portion of its range, rather than introduced, because it is a weedy plant found in disturbed habitats, and it is not widely planted in gardens. It is probably expanding due to humans creating more of the open and disturbed habitats it prefers.
