Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This plant is widely cultivated in gardens, and can escape into the wild. Escapes have resulted in its establishment northeast of its native range; we mark this new population expanded because of proximity to the native range, but it is scattered and uncommon to rare in this region.
