Notes

FSUS and iNaturalist use the common name "Small's Woodsorrel" for this species, but we dislike that common name. For one, it is not widely in use to refer to this species. Secondly, it is an honorific and we prefer not to use honorific names whenever possible. And thirdly, it is a natural literal translation of the scientific name of a different species, Oxalis smalliana, and thus invites confusion.
