Dwarf Birch (Betula nana L.)
↑Range
In North America, this species, which is primarily native to northern Europe, is only found in extreme northern Canada, where it is native. Previous reports, including the USDA map, were erroneous; it is not found anywhere in the US. We have yet to build its range map in Canada.↑Notes
The FEIS documents erroneously misclassify populations as this species and have not yet been updated. We retain them however because they are useful for understanding the populations that were formerly classified as part of this species.
