This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

BONAP shows this species as not occurring anywhere in Canada, but POWO, FNA, and VASCAN all report it in Ontario. We found numerous specific records, including many prior to the 2014 date when BONAP's map was generated, and we have not found an explanation for the discrepancy. Our map reflects the Ontario records which extend through the Lake Erie Lowland and north into the Eastern Great Lakes Lowlands.
