This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is widely planted in landscaping outside its native range. It has established in the wild at scattered sites both northeast and west of its native range; we mark these populations expanded because of proximity to the native range and because the northeastern populations are separated only by short distances, not larger than the gaps in this species' native range.
