This tentative map is based on our own research. It may have limited data on Canada and/or Mexico, and there is some subjectivity in our assignment of plants as introduced vs. expanded. Read more in this blog post.

This small annual vine has been spread around by the moving of soil and rock, and has been reported outside its native range growing in railroad ballast, dumps, and borrow pits. We mark these populations because they are spreading on their own and taking advantage of new habitats created by humans, and they are relatively connected to the native range. Due to the long dormancy of the seeds, this species may have been spread more widely than reports suggest, and may increase slowly over time.
