Georgia Lobelia (Lobelia georgiana McVaugh)
Also classified as Lobelia glandulifera (A.Gray) Small, Lobelia amoena var. glandulifera A.Gray.
This taxon was first described as southern lobelia (Lobelia amoena) var. glandulifera by A. Gray (1878) and is treated as such by USDA PLANTS and BONAP. However, numerous contemporary authorities including POWO and FSUS treat it as its own species. We follow the convention of separating it. A few sources call it Lobelia glandulifera.
