Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is native to the central US, but has expanded its range north, west, and east; we treat it as Expanded because it is weedy and spreads on its own, and shows a clear pattern of being more abundant near its native range, with scattered populations farther from it. This species is also native to northeast Mexico, but we have yet to build this portion of its map.
