Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is widely planted in gardens and often escapes into the wild north of its native range. We marked its new range expanded because of proximity to the native range, even though it is not directly adjacent, and because it has filled in numerous gaps in the range.
