Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This plant thrives in disturbed habitats including roadsides and pastures; it is likely expanding due to humans creating more habitat for it. BONAP reports Nebraska's population as adventive but it is likely that it is expanding in other areas as well.
