False Boneset (Brickellia eupatorioides (L.) Shinners)
USDA PLANTS and BONAP recognize six varieties of Brickellia eupatorioides. POWO on the other hand does not recognize any varieties of this species, but it separatesvar. corymbulosa into Brickellia suaveolens, var. ozarkana into Brickellia ozarkana, combines both var. chlorolepis and var. gracillima into Brickellia leptophylla, and separates var. floridana into Brickellia mosieri. We plan on adopting POWO's scheme but have not yet updated our taxonomy.
