Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is also native to southern Mexico; we have yet to build the portion of its range map in Mexico. The population in Delaware originated as garden escapes; although it could be marked as introduced, we mark it as expanded because it is close to the native range and this species is vigorous both at the edge of its range and in the new populations.
