Common Hop (Humulus lupulus L.)
Also known as common hops.
This species has been split into many species. Some sources, particularly those oriented towards beer brewing, refer to native varieties of this species; most authorities have split the native hops into separate species, including Humulus americanus and Humulus neomexicanus, and Humulus pubescens. Some introduced populations have also been split off as Humulus scandens.
