We found some sources, including USDA PLANTS, referring to this plant as "Common Wormwood", but that name usually refers to common wormwood (Artemisia absinthium). Similarly, some sources reference the common name "old man" but this name is more frequently used to refer to southernwood (Artemisia abrotanum).
