Gray Dogwood (Cornus racemosa Lam.)
Also known as panicled dogwood, northern swamp dogwood; also classified as Cornus foemina subsp. racemosa, Swida racemosa (Lam.) Moldenke.
Some sources, such as the Indiana Plant Atlas, treat this taxon as a subspecies of stiff dogwood (Cornus foemina), subsp. racemosa. We treat them as a separate species per most authorities including POWO and BONAP.
