Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is occasionally cultivated in gardens; it is able to survive in disturbed, anthropogenic habitats, and is more tolerant of dry, sunny conditions than other Thalictrum sp. BONAP reports this as adventive in Nevada; we marked it as expanded because of proximity to populations in Arizona and Colorado, and because the native range of this species contains many isolated western populations, but we have not verified the details of the origin of western populations.
