Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species was widely planted as a street tree, including far west of its native range. It produces wind-dispersed seeds prolifically, and has established in the wild in new regions; we mark some of these introduced, but the Colorado populations are nearly contiguous with the western border of its native range, so we mark them as expanded.
